Star Wars Celebration is underway and fans are expecting a bounty of glorious news, including an Episode IX panel which might reveal the first trailer and gameplay about the new Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order game by Respawn Entertainment. With this game not expected to be ported to the Nintendo Switch, many have been wondering when the portable console might receive some Star Wars love. Well, it sounds like these cries have been heard, as a Star Wars game has been announced for Nintendo Switch.

The Nintendo Switch Star Wars Pinball Collection has been revealed, and it consists of all nineteen tables from previous versions of the Star Wars pinball game released on other consoles by Zen Studios. This new version also takes advantage of the Switch’s vertical arcade mode, so players can really feel like they’re playing a digital pinball table with the joycons as flippers. Also included is a new career and Galactic Struggle mode.

The Nintendo Switch Star Wars Pinball Collection has been confirmed to be available in both digital and retail versions when it launches. This marks the first official Star Wars game to come to the Big N’s hybrid console, and hopefully it will be successful enough for EA to consider releasing more Star Wars games, ports like this, or otherwise, to the Nintendo Switch in the future.
