The Star Wars: The Last Jedi Trailer Has Finally Arrived – New Poster Revealed (VIDEO)

The Last Jedi Trailer

The wait is over, Star Wars fans, for The Last Jedi trailer has finally arrived. It feels like a long, long time since Luke and Rey were seen staring at each other on that cliff at the end of The Force Awakens, which only raised even more questions than moviegoers already had. While the video for next installment in the saga doesn’t answer a whole lot, it still gives a decent look at what’s to come: Light, darkness, and the balance between the two. First, let’s check out the new poster for the film, which was uploaded to the Star Wars Twitter account:

Now, what everyone is here for: The Last Jedi trailer. It was shown at a panel during the Star Wars Celebration, which is currently taking place in Orlando, and has finally arrived online. Fans get to see Rey beginning to understand what she is capable of while Luke Skywalker(Mark Hamill) narrates. When she starts feeling light, darkness, and the balance between the two, that’s really when the trailer takes off. Of course, not before Rey is seen wielding a lightsaber on the aforementioned cliff as Luke watches.

Fans will catch glimpses of their favorite characters that were introduced in The Force Awakens. Finn, Poe, BB-8, Captain Phasma, and Kylo Ren are all present. Even the Millennium Falcon makes a brief appearance as it blasts its way through the sky. This all leads up to Luke being seen in the opening of a cave as he says:

I only know one truth. It’s time for the Jedi… to end.”

Star Wars: The Last Jedi arrives in theaters on December 15 and is being directed by Rian Johnson. It is the eighth installment in the main franchise, and the trailer for the film can be seen above.
