Having a Nintendo product eventually means investing in the interactive figures that have become wildly collectible in recent years. Whether fans are looking for something to display or something to play, Nintendo has included a wide variety of characters that are sure to tickle any fans fancy. It is no surprise then that Amiibo’s Zelda themed collection will be welcoming three new additions to their already sizable family.

Amiibo’s Zelda themed collection has, in the past, included such characters as Link from Ocarina of Time, Toon Link, an 8-bit Link, and even Zelda herself among many others. These interactive characters can unlock special items, skins, and features in a myriad of games available on the 3DS, Wii U, and Nintendo Switch. Three new Amiibo are joining the ranks on June 23rd and can be seen below!

These new versions are modeled after Majora’s Mask, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword. Their uses have yet to be revealed, however, there is fan speculation that these figures may unlock the final costumes in Breath of the Wild. According to the Breath of the Wild guidebook, there are a few items that are “impossible to collect”, and among them are a Skyward Sword and Fierce Diety outfit. The latest figures in Amiibo’s Zelda themed collection may be the key that unlocks these features.

The news came with this months Nintendo Direct presentation, in which new games, updates, and features were announced. Besides the arrival of Amiibo’s Zelda themed characters, new Amiibo Cloud, Corrin, and Bayonetta are also coming to stores on July 21st. There will be two versions of each and some will be available at select retailers. With so many new characters on their way, fans collections and game experiences are sure to expand!
