Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Sequel Hinted At In New Job Listings
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is an excellent game that represents something quite meaningful to the fandom. While in itself the latest new title from Respawn Entertainment is absolutely enjoyable and well made, it’s the simple fact that it is a single-player Star Wars game ‘done right’ that will likely have positive consequences down the line. On a related note, it appears that developer is now teasing a sequel to the title in a set of new job listings.
The news comes by way of GamesRadar, which noted that there are now several new job listings for Respawn Entertainment that are indicative of another Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order entering development. The three postings for a Senior Character Artist, Level Designer, and Senior Software Engineer mention that the developer’s “Star Wars team” is working on a “third person action/adventure game” and, well, unless it’s a new KOTOR game, chances are it’s a sequel to Jedi Fallen Order.
It is currently unknown when we can expect an official announcement of a sequel for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, especially since Respawn is also a big busy with Apex Legends. We also don’t know whether or not we’ll be getting DLC for Jedi Fallen Order. None has been announced, though I don’t think I speak for just myself when I say that an extra planet or two to explore would be pretty amazing.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
