Spider-Man: Turf Wars DLC Launch Trailer Sees The Return of An iconic Villain (VIDEO)
Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man is the gift that keeps on giving to PS4 owners, and today the next chapter in the 3-part ‘The City That Never Sleeps’ saga, Turf Wars, officially arrives. In celebration of the new DLC, Sony has released a special launch trailer showing off what fans can expect from Turf Wars, complete with a lovely narration from J. Jonah Jameson. Check it out below:
According to Jameson, Turf Wars sees the return of iconic villain Hammerhead in his bid to take on the Maggia family. His presence is a bit more threatening than usual thanks to his acquiring of Sable International’s equipment which may have “fallen off the back of a truck.” So yeah, Hammerhead’s men stole a bunch of cool weaponry. Spider-Man must also contend with the social media-happy Screwball, and Spidey will have to use some new gadgets at his disposal to keep up with him. Here’s the breakdown of the upcoming DLC courtesy of Insomniac Games:
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Turf Wars
- New Enemy Strongholds – Sable International has left the city, but local gangs scavenged their bases and weapons. Encounter more powerful enemy types and bases fortified with the stolen Sable International equipment.
- Bonus Suits and Collectibles – Add three new suits to Spidey’s collection, including a unique, highly stylized Spider-Man suit. Collect new items and trophies throughout the new missions and challenges within the Marvel’s Spider-Man: Turf Wars story.
- Citizens on Edge – Stay up-to-date on the city’s reactions to the erupting criminal turf wars through in-game social media feeds, the tenacious city paper the Daily Bugle, and the ever-outspoken J. Jonah Jameson and his podcast, Just the Facts.
Spider-Man: Turf Wars launches today exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
