Skyrim VR

Virtual reality is so good, it would appear that game developers are attempting to get people out of real life and into VR. Hyperbole aside, some big names are coming to bat for the platform by releasing AAA titles. Just over the course of this past weekend we saw Bethesda unveil DOOM VFR and Fallout 4 VR, two huge games that aren’t your everyday “experience” that comes to virtual reality. Well, thanks to the reveal of yet another big title coming to headsets, we now have something else to be excited about: Skyrim VR.

The trailer for Skyrim VR debuted during Sony’s press conference at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo. This is because it will be headed to PlayStation VR this November. Imagine everything you experienced in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and bring it to life through the magic that is virtual reality. Words can’t do it justice, so take a look at the reveal trailer below:

Skyrim VR puts you in the role of the Dragonborn – the prophesied hero who can harness the power of dragons. From battling ancient dragons to exploring rugged mountains and more, Skyrim VR brings to life a complete open world for you to explore any way you choose.”

Not only will players get to enjoy the massive hit in VR, but it will also be accompanied by the official add-ons – Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn. Fans can pre-order Skyrim VR on the game’s official website. For more on The Elder Scrolls franchise, check out the following:
