The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim is Officially Coming to the Nintendo Switch (VIDEO)

Back in February, there was a list from Nintendo regarding the developing and publishing studios that would be involved with creating games for the Switch. It was also hinted in promotional videos and commercials before the console released with gameplay from the famous Bethesda title being featured in many of them. Now, it has been made official and announced during the Bethesdaland show at E3 2017. Check out the trailer below as The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim makes its debut on this next generation console:

All the joy and fun of playing Skyrim can now be had in first-person with the Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons. Of course, it features motion-control combat and other in-game interactions. According to the video above, players can even take the Breath of the Wild amiibo version of Link and use it to summon a chest that contains the Master Sword, corresponding blue tunic and outfit as well. Take a small piece of Hyrule with you into Skyrim, whether it’s at home and comfortable on the couch (or standing up if you prefer) or on the go. Simultaneously become the Dragonborn and Link!

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for the Nintendo Switch includes all-new gameplay features like motion controls for combat and lockpicking, outfits and gear from The Legend of Zelda. Take down enemies with the Master Sword, protect yourself with the Hylian Shield or look heroic in the Champion’s Tunic. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for the Nintendo Switch also includes all official add-ons: Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn. Plus tap other compatible amiibo to gain additional loot including those from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild series, 30th Anniversary – The Legend of Zelda series, Super Smash Bros. series, and The Legend of Zelda series.”
