Here’s Everything You Need to Know About the Season Pass for Resident Evil 7

The release date for Capcom’s horror game Resident Evil 7 is right around the corner and we’ve seen a ton of stuff about the upcoming suspense title to keep us excited about the impending release. The survival-horror game is even more intense this go around with its VR capability (trust me, it’s terrifying. Ask the broken TV I accidentally smashed at E3). We’ve seen trailers, teasers, the collector’s edition, and ‘interesting’ collectibles regarding the 7th game in the RE series – now, we’ve got an inside look as to what the season pass entails for players. Is it worth it?

Let’s take a look, as per the Steam listing:

Resident Evil 7 Season Pass Details:

Banned Footage Vol. 1

  • Nightmare
  • Bedroom
  • Ethan Must Die

Banned Footage Vol. 2

  • 21
  • Daughters
  • Jack’s 55th Birthday

Additional Story Episode

If you’re a fan of the Resident Evil games, the Season Pass does look like it would be worth it, even though this title does stray from the more zombie-centric predecessors. One thing to note for horror fans planning on surviving this adventure is that there are several different storylines queued up after launch – each with an interesting titleEthan Must Die, really? Poor Ethan.

The listing finishes off with a vague “additional story episode”, which can be just about anything. No official word from Capcom yet hinting at what the story episode could be centered around, but hey – it’s a suspense game. Might as well make the additional content suspenseful, as well.

The Season Pass itself will retail for 29.99 USD or it can be purchased with the “Deluxe Bundle” with the game for 89.99 USD. The game itself will be open for PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR, Xbox One, and PC on January 24th this year.
