Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil 6 Confirmed For Nintendo Switch (VIDEO)

Last month saw the introduction of several Resident Evil games for the Nintendo Switch, bringing the likes of the first, fourth, and prequel “zero” installment to the hybrid console for the first time. While there are some notable RE entries missing from that line-up (excluding Resident Evil 7), Nintendo appears set on correcting this undead injustice with the announcement of two more games for Switch: Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6.

Revealed during Nintendo’s E3 Direct showcase, two of the more recent numbered installments were confirmed to be on their way, hitting the portable system later this fall. The hype-worthy news was paired with a fittingly creepy trailer, depicting a couple’s terror as they’re stalked by the might of an unbearably horrific force. This force? Resident Evil 5 and 6, of course! Check out the trailer below alongside Nintendo‘s official descriptions for both games.

Blending action and survival horror, Resident Evil 6 delivers an epic and dramatic horror experience. Resident Evil favorites Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield are joined by series newcomers to face a global level threat: the highly virulent C-virus. “
