New Resident Evil 3 Remake Trailer Shows Off More Enemies, Scary Nemesis Footage (VIDEO)

Resident Evil 3 Remake Trailer Shows Off New Enemies, More Nemesis Footage (VIDEO)

It looks like the good folks over at Capcom aren’t satisfied with letting the Final Fantasy VII Remake’s delay news steal all the spotlight today. With the Resident Evil 3 Remake officially on the way, Sony and Capcom have released a brand new trailer showing off loads of new footage featuring Jill Valentine, Carlos Oliveira, and, of course, Nemesis.

As one YouTuber states in the video’s comments, “If you thought Mr. X was scary, you’re in for a treat with Nemesis.” The titular baddie is shown popping up basically everywhere in the trailer and at absolutely the most inopportune times (if you’re Jill), and as such this will likely be a much scarier affair than that of Mr. X and the Resident Evil 2 Remake. Check out the video and see for yourself:

That’s right, that’s a flamethrower-wielding Nemesis and we’re officially terrified. The good news is that the Resident Evil 3 Remake will be a bit more action-oriented than the likes of Resident Evil 2, so Jill Valentine and company should have all the tools they need, hopefully, to evade Nemesis and the other things that go bump in the night.

As a friendly reminder, the main campaign within the Resident Evil 3 Remake isn’t the only things fans have to look forward to, as it was also revealed that the multiplayer Project Resistance, originally thought to be a stand-alone Resident Evil experience, is being included in the game. Here’s hoping those that play it won’t have to worry about being charred to a crisp by Nemesis.

The Resident Evil 3 Remake is slated to release on April 3, 2020, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
