Remastered Crash Bandicoot Trilogy May be Coming to Other Platforms
Few can remember the heady days of PlayStation 1 without at least recalling one of the Crash Bandicoot games. Since the announcement of a remastered Crash Bandicoot trilogy, fan excitement has skyrocketed at the prospect of replaying one of our favorite franchises of yesteryear. The excitement prompted PlayStation Ireland to talk a bit about the title with fans, but things took an odd turn.
The tweet above captured from a NeoGaf post in response to a fan question on the 20th was deleted shortly thereafter. PlayStation Ireland followed up with a tweet that has since had fans abuzz with questions on whether or not the remastered Crash Bandicoot trilogy, dubbed “N-Sane Trilogy”, would be PS4 exclusive or not. You can view the tweet below!
will launch on 30th June 2017. To clarify our earlier post, it will be coming to PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro first.

The remastered Crash Bandicoot trilogy has been announced for the PS4 to launch on June 30th and given that it has always been a PlayStation exclusive franchise, fans expected it to stay that way. The tweet above suggests that it may actually be a timed exclusive. That means it may eventually be available on other platforms, which has given fans hope. Though it is too soon to say whether or not the speculation carries any weight, we’re sure in time there will be more from Activision on the matter.
Here are just a few of the tweets of the community’s response to their “release on the PS4 and PS4 Pro first” post:

The trilogy will include remastered versions of the original Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot: Warped. Vicarious Visions has picked up the ball from Naughty Dog for the remaster and the update is exciting news. With later spinoffs of the games released on other platforms as publishing rights moved from Sony to Activision, Sierra, and Vivendi -it is plausible that we may yet see the games on other platforms. For now, we’ll have to wait and see.
