New Rainbow Six Siege Operator Teased Alongside Proximity Alarm Gadget (VIDEO)

Ubisoft has been particularly busy as of late with Rainbow Six Siege, with the publisher recently releasing a brand new trailer showing off the latest batch of content, named Operation: Burnt Horizon. The fun doesn’t stop there, though, as Ubisoft has released a new CGI trailer for the game as well, one that has revealed some exciting new details regarding the next upcoming Operator.

The CGI trailer itself is called ‘The Hammer and the Scalpel,’ and it details some of the internal, conflicting personalities that can sometimes clash when on the job. The trailer itself is an enjoyable watch even for those that don’t necessarily play the game, and it can be seen below:

Towards the end of the trailer, an idea board can be seen that has tons of pictures and sticky notes strewn about on and around it.  One such note refers to a new operator, and it reads “expert in covert reconnaissance and stealth tactics.” Another note says they have an “ability to blend and adapt into environment.” Naturally this leads us to believe that the new Operator is going to have a focus on stealth, something decidedly missing from both Gridlock and Mozzie.

Another part of the idea board suggests that a new gadget is on the way. Marked on a note alongside another that discusses a different gadget that was already added into the game, said note talks about a Proximity Alarm gadget, so players can look forward to that alongside the stealthy new Operator.

Rainbow Six Siege is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
