Rainbow Six Siege: Ubisoft Announces Operation Grim Sky And Two New Operators
Believe it or not, Rainbow Six Siege is well into its third year as a thriving and successful video game from Ubisoft, releasing new and improved content with regularity. As it heads into its third season in year three, a brand new operation was announced. Dubbed Operation Grim Sky, two fresh faces will join the Urban Tactical Response Team under the aforementioned code name – a defender from Great Britain and an Attacker from America.
Aside from the short teaser below, Ubisoft reveals a few special details on Grim Sky and a few things players can expect from the forthcoming additions. Check it out below:

The British defender is an expert in snatch-squad tactics and mob behavior with a police background, and she “belongs on the front line and she won’t tolerate any nonsense.” The American attacker on the other hand is a specialist in tactical operations and surgical precision, but remains “an enigma within Rainbow Six.”
Grim Sky will bring in the first map rework to Hereford Base by adjusting a few details here and there to “raise the bar” for competitive matches. Ubisoft knows how iconic the training facility is for players, and they’ll likely keep a few recognizable motifs of the original. Here’s a few other features the development team plans to improve:
A few gameplay enhancements are also making their way into Operation Grim Sky. Following a lengthy test phase, we’re bringing forth much-anticipated modifications to address the weapon sights misalignment. But that’s not all! In our constant pursuit to improve the game and the player experience, an adjustment with the Operator Idle Pick as well as dynamic resolution scaling for consoles are also on their way. Make sure to play on our test server and submit your feedback on R6 Fix.”
More will be revealed on Operation Grim Sky on August 17th to the 19th during the Six Major taking place in Paris, France. Until then, what are your thoughts on Grim Sky thus far?
