PUBG Miramar Map For Xbox Launches On Test Servers Tomorrow
Though the Steam version of the popular battle royale game PUBG is already testing their third map, the Xbox One version still has quite a bit to go before it’s ready to leave Microsoft’s Preview Program. Because of the variation between both versions, what comes readily available for one doesn’t necessarily mean it’s ready for the other. That being said, the Miramar map that many PC players have a love/hate relationship will finally be coming to the Microsoft platform and begins on the game’s testing servers tomorrow!
Microsoft took to their forums to let fans in on when the testing will begin and how Xbox players can partake. To being, make sure to download the “PUBT Test Server” from the Microsoft store, from there, it’s a matter of hopping in during the correct times:
Test Server Downloadable Starting:
- April 24th, 12am, your local timezone.
Full Test Schedule Below:
U.S. (PDT) SCHEDULE
- 4/25, 4/26, 4/27: Servers available 5pm PDT through 11pm PDT
- 4/28 & 4/29: Servers available 11am PDT through 11pm PDT
EUROPE (CEST) SCHEDULE
- 4/26, 4/27, 4/28: Servers available 2am CEST through 8am CEST
- 4/28 & 4/29: Servers available 8pm CEST through 8am CEST
“During the test period and beyond, we will be actively listening to player feedback and using it to improve the build,” added the Xbox team, “so please be sure and share your comments, questions, and concerns in the thread below! There will also be “bug bounty” rewards: 150 players who help us find bugs will get some swaggy in-game items.”
Though it’s awesome that they are ready to begin testing the desert map, many European players were quick to note that they definitely got the short end of the stick for this testing period. If you’re in that region, you’re looking at around a 2am to 8am time frame during the middle of the week … not that optimal, especially during the work week. PUBG Corp has yet to make comment on this, despite rising complaints, though we’re not sure they even will. Only time will tell, but at this time – this is when players can expect to test out what’s coming next.
