PS5 Reveal Event “Less Than 4 Weeks Away,” Says God Of War Creator
Recently, it was revealed that the good folks over at Sony are skipping out on E3 2020, making this the second year in a row that the PlayStation company has chosen to forgo the event in favor of its own internal thought processes. Still, the PlayStation 5 isn’t going to reveal itself, and many have begun to assume that Sony plans on having a big PS5 reveal event at some point next month. The rumors thus far appear to be on to something, as even the God of War creator himself has chimed in confirming that the reveal is in fact happening next month.
God of War creator David Jaffe recently took to Twitter to reply to a fan’s statement suggesting that Microsoft is currently dominating the “next gen conversation.” Jaffe responded stating that the PS5 reveal is “less than 4 weeks away,” and that just because Microsoft is ahead of the curve now doesn’t mean they will be once the PS5 reveal event finally happens.
PS5 reveal is less than 4 weeks away. Sony knows hard core gamers are hanging on every scrap of info and know that just cause MSFT dominates the conversation at the moment, that’s an easy thing to change when they are ready to reveal (assuming the reveal is good).

When asked if Sony actually confirmed when the event is happened, David Jaffe responded at a bit of an angle, saying that it’s the “worst kept secret in games right now.” Jaffe himself hasn’t worked with Sony since his release of PS4 exclusive Drawn to Death back in 2017, though given his long history with the company, it’s possible someone let something slip. Even so, even if this is just speculation at this point, chances are we’ll finally be seeing our first look at the PS5 at some point next month.
