Pokemon Let’s Go Allows Players To Herd Pikachu For Candies (VIDEO)
Pokemon Let’s Go is a new twist on the classic top-down, sprite design. Instead the teams at Game Freak and Nintendo are taking the updated look of Sun & Moon to a whole new level, mixing classic features of the franchise with Pokemon GO for a more immersive experience. An entirely new experience awaits, including herding throngs of Pikachu for candies.
Participate in mini-games that require Trainers to herd groups of Pikachu for candies, a highly desirable item that levels up your Pokemon. There are candies with specific attributes that increase certain statistics as well such as Mighty, Tough, Courage, and Quick Candy. Check out the brand new trailer below for more details on that and other new features:
Aside from herding a giant herd of adorable Pikachu, players can visit GO parks, import Kanto region pocket monsters, earn extra candies simply by transferring, enjoy other mini-games and more. Challenge powerful Pokemon such as the three legendary birds of Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. Mewtwo can be encountered as well. As for the petite Mew, he is only available with the purchase of a Poke Ball Plus, a creative and fully-functional controller in the shape of a Poke Ball. It may be worth the extra couple bucks, seeing as Mew can be taught “almost any move.”
In other Pokemon Let’s Go news, there are limited edition Pikachu and Eevee Nintendo Switch bundles available for purchase that includes an exclusive Switch design. Did you know you can use select pocket monsters as mounts too? Hitch a ride on Onyx or Arcanine for example!
