Team Go Rocket has invaded Earth! The past few days have proven exciting for avid Pokemon Go players when sightings of grunts were reported throughout the city of New York. From vandalizing posters with the signature red letter R to taking over a “huge number” of PokeStops across the city. To help citizens regain control of their town, Trainers were tasked with the mission to stop the spread. However, something even more sinister lies ahead.

Simply titled with the letter R, the video above showcases a live countdown and Pokemon Go fans are mere hours away from another massive unveiling. Onlookers will even catch glimpses of Team Go Rocket grunts blowing raspberries and making faces at the screen. Based on the video feature image, it looks like Giovanni is behind this master plan!

Despite the multitude of seasonal Pokemon Go events, raid, rare Pokemon, and the introduction of PvP battles, this has already proven itself to be one of the biggest community events Niantic and company has held so far.  Already itching to see what the team has in store? It won’t be long before we finally get to see what’s behind the curtain! Aside from that, the reveal remains a mystery. The only piece of information we’re sure of – Team Rocket is in on it and they’re prepared to dish out their evil plans.

It looks like the team behind Pokemon Go are pulling out all the stops! I wonder what else they have in store for the future?
