Pokemon GO Holiday Event Adds New Shiny Pokemon
For the second half of December, Niantic and company have plenty of bonus holiday loot for Pokemon GO players, including new shiny Pokemon, plenty of ice-types to go around, and candy to grab up. There are new items to outfit your adorable pocket monster creatures with as well with Delibird themed sweaters, gloves, and boots, all of which will be available in the Style Shop. Need to see the sparkling new additions this time around? Check them all out below, thanks to the good folks over at Pokemon Go Hub:
In addition to that, from now until December 26th, Pokemon Trainers can earn two times the Catch Stardust to power up their companions! Then from the 26th until the 30th, catch up on experience points with double when catching more Pokemon to add to the collection. Finally, to ring in the new year of 2019 with baby pocket monsters, incubators will be twice more effective than usual. Since everyone will get a free incubator each day until January 2nd, that’s a whole lot to keep track of!
As for what kind of ice-types you’ll be seeing in the wild, trainers will catch glimpses of Jynx, Sneasel, Swinub, Snorunt, Spheal, and Snover. Pokemon donning festive clothing items and appearances will show up as well – Pikachu in a Santa hat anyone?
Have a phenomenal holiday season everyone, whatever it is that you celebrate! What do you think of these brand new shiny additions to Pokemon GO? Are you happy to see more ice-types appear?
