Per Aspera Announcement Trailer Revealed At E3 2019 (VIDEO)
E3 2019 is in full swing and we’ve already heard so many major announcements that the DFTG has begun to ponder which reveal has been their favorite so far. While all of the major AAA titles were being announced and wooed over, smaller titles were announced too – like Per Aspera. This indie title puts players at the helm of terraforming Mars while controlling a powerful AI, as a precursor to the eventual takeover by the wayward human race. Check out the trailer below:
As seen in the trailer, AMI is deployed to the surface of that “distant, dusty rock” and starts building out the necessary components to do its task and eventually make Mars habitable for the human race. The player will have the ability to build as they see fit, research what they need to move forward with their creative vision, and test out the theories on how best to terraform the planet.
For those who are as interested as I am in Per Aspera, check out the synopsis for the game below per Steam:
“In Per Aspera, you take control of an Artificial Consciousness named AMI, whose prime directive is anything but simple: terraform Mars into a lush, verdant paradise and prepare it for human colonization. But you aren’t the first to attempt this mission, and as you face the hardships before you, in time you may uncover the truth of their fate. Hardship awaits.”
Per Aspera is scheduled to release in 2020.
Are you excited to check out Per Aspera when it is released in 2020? What else are you hoping to learn about this simulation experience before its release?
