Open Beta for Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War III Only a Couple Weeks Away
SEGA has sure been busy, lately. In a few short weeks, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III – Prophecy of War will be coming out on PC. Before that happens, there will be an open beta available for players to try it out! Additionally, Creative Assembly’s Total War: Warhammer 2 recently received a brand new cinematic announcement trailer showcasing 3 of the 4 races playable in the title. Even though the first installment was just released in 2016, the studio and publisher are already excited to release the sequel. The battle to control the Vortex is highlighted between a three versus three High Elves, Dark Elves, and Lizardmen video.
Just lurking in the shadows is a mysterious fourth party fans have yet to discover. Of course, that’s not all. Those of whom own both games after Warhammer 2’s debut will get to experience a “colossal new combined campaign”, allowing them to utilize any of the races from the titles. With the imminent launch of Dawn of War III, there’s also a Limited and Collector’s Edition for those who decide to invest! Buyers receive a “Godsplitter Daemon Hammer” replica, faction banners on wooden poles, bonus digital content, disc book, art card and official soundtrack in the latter. The Masters of War skins are a neat little freebie for gamers that decide to pre-order the game!
The open beta will take place over the weekend from 10 AM (Pacific Time) / 1 PM (Eastern Time) on April 21st through 10 AM (Pacific Time) / 1PM (Eastern Time) April 24th. The game is slated for release on April 27th, 2017 on PC.
The big question is – which faction will reign supreme? Will it be Orks, Space Marines, of Eldar? Any opinions on Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War III before it hits the shelves?
