It looks like a former G4 TV cast member may be returning for the network’s official relaunch. Just a few weeks ago, G4 TV announced that the network would be returning to our television screens at some point next year, with Twitter accounts for both ‘Attack of the Show!’ and ‘X-Play’ retweeting the message. Now, it’s been revealed that AoTS star Olivia Munn is in ‘final talks’ to return to the network for its big launch next year.

The news comes by way of TheWrap, which reported that sources close to the outlet confirmed that Olivia Munn is in final talks to sign a multi-year deal with G4 TV. Said agreement will seemingly include both on and off-camera development roles for Olivia Munn. Munn was an anchor on Attack of the Show alongside Kevin Pereira for several years, co-starring on the series from 2006 to 2010, returning for Pereira’s final show in 2012. It’s frankly quite difficult to picture a G4 TV network without the presence of Munn in some capacity, so it’ll be quite the boon if these ‘final talks’ conclude successfully.

Following Olivia Munn’s stint on AoTS, she went on to star in HBO’s The Newsroom, X-Men: Apocalypse, The Lego Ninjago Movie, and more. Her next acting credits include the upcoming project Violet as well as The Gateway, the latter of which is in post-production.
