The Nintendo Direct broadcast from last month brought some good news for FPS fans on the console with the confirmation that Doom would be coming to Nintendo Switch players by the end of the year. The Nintendo Switch Doom release date was thought to be released sometime in December due to a leak earlier this year from a European retailer, the latest developer diary however revealed that the game would be coming to the system November 10th instead.

Not only does the video provide the Nintendo Switch Doom release date but also gives some new gameplay running on the console. There’s been plenty of gameplay from the single player campaign already from previous Switch presentations, but this new footage from the developer diary shows off how the multiplayer will preform.

The graphics might not be as impressive as its platform counterparts, but the ability to take the game on the go is interesting to say the least. Hopefully it’ll be able to stand up to the likes of the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 versions of the game. Not only does it serve as a great addition to the FPS genre on the Nintendo console, but also marks the first time that a Doom title has made its way to a Nintendo system since the release of Doom 64.
