Nick Fury Series In Development Featuring Samuel L. Jackson

Nick Fury

Following the onslaught of superhero movies over the past decade, Marvel is set to release a ton of new shows within its comic book universe such as the upcoming WandaVision, Loki, She-Hulk, and more. Now it appears that there may be one more focusing on the spymaster Nick Fury portrayed by the one and only Samuel L. Jackson.

A recent report has arrived stating that Jackson is set to reprise his role in a new series for Disney+ with Kyle Bradstreet of Mr. Robot acclaim to serve as writer and executive producer for Marvel Studios. Unfortunately, aside from sources claiming that the actor will be returning as Nick Fury, there aren’t any details as to what the plot of the series will be. Fury last made an appearance in Spider-Man: Far From Home where he was seen onboard a Skrull ship somewhere in space. It’s possible the show will explore Fury’s work with the Skrulls perhaps as he rises through the ranks of S.H.I.E.L.D. or even as a continuation of the scene fans saw in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

There was no word as to when the show would begin production and there was no comment from either Jackson or Badstreet on the report. Would you like to see a series following Nick Fury in some superhero spy games? What do you think could possibly be the plot for the new show? Do you believe it will be a continuation of another storyline, or will it be something entirely new?
