Suit Up For Battle In Latest Dynasty Warriors 9 Trailer – Release Dates Revealed (VIDEO)
Koei Tecmo’s fast paced hack and slash series is getting an all new entry in the upcoming Dynasty Warriors 9. This will mark the long-running franchise’s first stab in an open-world environment, taking the stylish Feudal China setting further than ever before. While we’ve seen several instances of stunning footage highlighting the updated gameplay and visuals, an all-new Dynasty Warriors 9 trailer shows off the series’ over-the-top action in epic cinematic fashion.
The short trailer highlights protagonist Zhao Yun as he gears up for the battle ahead of him, donning armor in a fantastically spectacular montage. The Power Rangers-esque suit-up sequence was followed by a large scale one-vs-all battle, a typical sight to behold in Dynasty Warriors. Amping up the Dynasty Warriors 9 trailer is “King of the Street” by popular Japanese rockers B’z, the official theme song for the game. Check it out below.
Recently, Dynasty Warriors 9‘s early 2018 launch window was confirmed to be February 8 in Japan, with a Western release following soon after on February 13. The PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One release will also come with several pre-order exclusive costumes, such as a Beijing opera-style costume for Zhao Yun, and six additional ones based on “traditional Chinese undergarment styles” for fellow fighters Guan Yinping, Diaochan, Sun Shangxiang, Lu Lingqi, Wang Yi, and Wang Yuanji.
