New Alien: Isolation Digital Series Revealed (VIDEO)
Alien: Isolation is a wonderful and terrifying addition to the Alien franchise, placing players in the shoes of Ellen Ripley’s daughter as she searches for clues to the disappearance of her mother. Now it seems the title is set to receive a new digital series based upon cutscenes from the game as well as an expansion upon the existing story that fans know and love.
The series will run for a total of seven episodes, the first of which will be available to view on IGN ‘s site February 28th at 9 AM PT. A recent post reveals that fans of the Alien franchise that played the game and those who haven’t will be able to view the series with fresh eyes, taking the existing cutscenes from the title to create a new “animation experience” to add new layers to the tale of Ellen’s daughter.
It will be nice to see what the new series has in store for fans both new and old, especially if the peculiar animation style comes together as well as 20th Century Fox anticipates.
