Netflix’s The Witcher Series Gets A New Teaser Trailer (VIDEO)
I don’t know about you, but I almost completely forgot about Netflix’s upcoming The Witcher series ever since the epic full-length trailer for the show was unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con. Thankfully it appears that Netflix somehow knows about my forgetfulness, as the streaming service has released a new teaser trailer for the show with a few new glimpses of Geralt of Rivia, Ciri, and Yennefer.
As reported by BGR, Netflix released a new teaser trailer for The Witcher over on its Italian YouTube Channel. Coming in at an admittedly paltry 16 seconds, the teaser trailer still manages to show off a couple new scenes featuring some of the main characters. Henry Cavill’s Geralt of Rivia is shown looking out of a broken window before turning around to face an enemy behind him. We are also given a few brief glimpses of Ciri and Yennefer, though we’re still waiting on some actual footage of Triss and some of the other characters. Check out the teaser trailer below:
Unfamiliar with the upcoming series? Here’s the description from Netflix:
“Based on the best-selling fantasy series of books, The Witcher is an epic tale of fate and family. Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together.”
Netflix’s The Witcher series is expected to release later this year.
