Mortal Kombat Movie Behind The Scenes Photo Teases Bloody Finale

Bloody Mortal Kombat movie

With all of the big video game-related film projects in the works in Hollywood, one of the more promising projects would seem to be the new Mortal Kombat movie reboot. The film has promised a strong return for the series to the silver screen, with a talented cast of actors and martial artists paired with big-budget special effects. Several behind-the-scenes looks have been shared by the cast and crew, including a shot of a frozen set and now, another sneak preview teasing a bloody Mortal Kombat movie finale.

Actor Lewis Tan recently shared the behind the scenes image on their official Instagram account. Tan claims the photo was taken at a point in production at which only the film’s finale was left to be filmed. The photo shows Tan wearing a Mortal Kombat baseball hat, with a side of his face in full fake blood makeup. As production has been going for several months now in Australia, it would seem that the filming portion of production is nearing its bloody end.

There’s no word yet who exactly Tan is playing, but as the film’s cast of characters already includes Raiden, Shang Tsung, Kung Lao, and Liu Kang, these particular classic fighters can already be ruled out. No matter who Tan ends up portraying, he certainly seems to look the part of a battle-hardened warrior looking for the next fatality.
