Hitman 2 December Roadmap Puts Christmas In The Crosshairs (VIDEO)

Hitman 2 has been putting out a regular assortment of content each and every month, often cooking up creative events themed around a specific holiday. The game’s December roadmap appears to be no different, as IO Interactive has revealed another new batch of winter-themed contracts to fulfill, such as one notable mission that dresses Agent 47 in the guise of Santa Claus.

As revealed in the December roadmap trailer below, Hitman 2 has a number of new pieces of content coming over the next few weeks. The holiday season kicks off with a pair of Escalation Contracts on December 5th, with Legacy Elusive Target ‘The Chef’ going live the very next day. December 12 marks the start of “12 Days of Contracts,” introducing a collection of community-created missions themed around the merry season of giving.

These yuletide affairs arrive alongside two more in the form of the seasonal Holiday Hoarders and Snow Festival in Hokkaido missions. The former puts players back in the familiar Paris map with the goal of unlocking the classic Santa Claus suit, while the latter poses several snow-themed challenges in exchange for the luxurious Snow Festival Suit as well as the Ice Pick melee weapon. Following their introduction on December 17th, these two missions will end their seasonal status and become permanent additions to the game.

December ends with a trio of contracts, starting with the accident-prone The Rafael Misadventure and the community-created Kotti Paradigm Escalations on December 17th. Lastly, a few days later (December 20th) introduces a new Elusive Target called The Stowaway, giving Agent 47 until January 6th to stealthily retrieve an undercover journalist. Full details regarding the December roadmap can read on the official IO website.

Hitman 2 is out now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
