Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack 2 Revealed, Mileena Confirmed (VIDEO)

Mortal Kombat 11 Mileena Kombat Pack 2

Mortal Kombat 11 has been rolling out quite a few new characters for its violent-style fighter, including the high-profile likes of The Terminator, RoboCop, and Cary Tagawa’s glorious version of Shang Tsung from the Mortal Kombat movie. Though guest additions are surely nothing to be upset about, many fans have instead been clamoring for the return of characters from previous MK games, with the most paramount being Kitana’s razor-toothed twin sister Mileena. Having stayed out of the main game and jokingly teased by NetherRealm’s Ed Boon for months thus far, it appears that Mileena fans are finally getting their due with the reveal of Kombat Pack 2.

Revealed in a mysterious new trailer, Mortal Kombat 11 not only confirmed the existence of a new Kombat Pack, but the DLC will also debut three new characters to the already-pretty-expansive MK11 roster.  Included is the purple half-Tarkatan ninja Mileena, the regal weather-sorcerer Rain, as well as the guest addition of Rambo from the character’s action-packed movie series. Confirmed by Ed Boon, it appears fans can also expect the macho Special Service soldier to be voiced by the man himself Sylvester Stallone.

Kombat Pack 2 doesn’t currently have a release date but pre-orders are set to begin on October 15th. The pack is set to be an add-on for all owners of the base game and will be included with  Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, a new compilation of all the game’s DLC along with a number of exclusive extras. Mileena finally coming to MK11 is a long time coming, with creative director Ed Boon trolling fans about the character’s potential appearance for months at this point. However, it looks like Mileena fans can now rest easy, but Boon doesn’t appear to be finished with his teases just yet.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available now for Google Stadia, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
