The release of Spawn into Mortal Kombat 11 has been teased for quite some time now. In fact, recently a new series of toys has seemingly indicated that the character will soon be available for players, and a new post from Todd McFarlane himself has provided fans with a brief tease of the character’s introduction.

A recent post on Twitter from McFarlane reveals that he’ll be in Chicago for Final Kombat to reveal both a gameplay trailer and an official trailer for Mortal Kombat 11’s Spawn. Sadly, the teaser didn’t provide much in the way of content, but the promise of an actual gameplay reveal is quite exciting, to say the least. NetherRealm hasn’t mentioned whether or not they have anything else planned for the upcoming event, but anything is possible! Hee’s McFarlane’s tweet:

Mortal Kombat 11 is currently available for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Google Stadia. The upcoming Final Kombat event – and the Spawn gameplay reveal – is set to release on Sunday, March 8th of this year.
