Mortal Kombat 11 Confirms Return of Jade In New Gameplay Trailer (VIDEO)

Since the game’s eventful reveal, NetherRealm Studios has been teasing quite the roster for Mortal Kombat 11, a number of members having since debuted with a glorious excess of gore-laden trailers. As the game has a bit over two months before it releases, the weeks ahead promise to be an exciting time for Mortal Kombat 11 fans, as the game’s time-travel plot could potentially bring anyone back for another round of Kombat, even fighters considered long dead and buried.

As part of the game’s second round of the Kombat Kast livestream, NetherRealm showed off another piece of exciting gameplay, this time confirming the return of Jade following her absence in Mortal Kombat X. For the occasion of Valentine’s Day, it appears developers felt compelled to show some love to the fans, which apparently translates to Jade impaling foes’ face with her staff. Check out the gruesome reveal below:

With more characters planned to be revealed in the coming weeks, it’s apparent that (almost) no character is off limits for a potential comeback, as evident by the return of Jade. The fan-favorite character notably met her end in 2011’s Mortal Kombat and subsequently sat out its follow-up MKX, making her current return a welcome sight for longtime players. Who else could be next? I suppose we’ll have to wait until the next Kombat Kast reveal to find out, which is scheduled to take place sometime next week.

Mortal Kombat 11 releases for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on April 23rd.

What do you think? Are you glad to see Jade back in Mortal Kombat 11, or are you still upset NetherRealm snubbed Shaggy from Scooby-Doo?
