Mortal Kombat 11: Kabal Revealed As Next Playable Fighter (VIDEO)

NetherRealm Studios’ upcoming fighting title Mortal Kombat 11 has been showing off it’s impressive roster of characters for a few weeks now, with each featuring a brutal array of attacks and fatalities. Various old and new faces have been confirmed for the roster so far, with the killer criminal Kano being one of the latest to join the formidable otherworldly tournament.

The next available fighter has now been revealed during upcoming game’s inaugural Kombat Kast livestream: the blade-brandishing warrior Kabal. The formidable former Black Dragon member was shown off in a new trailer delivering his typically savage moveset in a battle with Sub-Zero, capping it all off with an especially gruesome fatality. Check it out below.

Though there looks to be plenty of great fighters to look forward to, it seems NetherRealm may not by entirely willing to put every expected character in a playable capacity. It was recently revealed that the game’s time-manipulating sorceress Kronika would not appear in the roster, featuring as more of a main villain boss character role. This would place her on the sidelines with the likes of another fan-favorite fighter, Shaggy from Scooby Doo, but the jury’s still out on if that may actually come to pass.

Mortal Kombat 11 will release for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on April 23rd.
