Mortal Kombat 11 Confirms Cassie Cage, Erron Black, and Jacqui Briggs In New Story Trailer (VIDEO)
Over the last few weeks, NetherRealm Studios have been letting quite a few details loose about Mortal Kombat 11, mostly showcasing the game’s wide array of characters and the greatly refined gameplay this time around. Though tidbits have been shared here and there about the the game’s story, but the teased time-travel plot has largely remained a mystery.
A bit of that mystery has now been chipped away by the latest trailer, showing off the time-warping wrath of the game’s big bad, Kronika. The “temporal crisis” at hand looks to create alliances across both klassic and modern timelines, allowing unlikely interactions with past selves and marking the return of several characters such as Cassie Cage, Erron Black, and Jacqui Briggs. Check out the gloriously violent trailer below.
The addition of these new characters is definately a welcome one among the many that have already been announced. However, these few aren’t exactly surprising when taking a recent leak into consideration, where a large portion of the Mortal Kombat 11 roster was inexplicably revealed. Despite potential spoilers being out there, NetherRealm is set to debut a new Kombat Kast later today, where the studio plans to reveal yet another fighter with an extended piece of gameplay.
