Mortal Kombat 11 RoboCop Customization Revealed (VIDEO)

Mortal Kombat 11 RoboCop Customization

Over a full year after initially releasing, Mortal Kombat 11 has taken a page from its own tournament and prepared a “Round 2” of gorgeous-looking content. Titled ‘Aftermath,’ nearly the entire slate of characters introduced over the last 12 months are now poised to receive a full story-based epilogue filled with even more additions in the like of stage Fatalities, Friendships, as well as several new faces to the game’s ever-expanding roster. One of these freshman fighters has been revealed as none other than RoboCop, the character coming with all the brutal trappings one would expect from the crew at NetherRealm Studios.

This includes the expected influx of alterations to RoboCop’s appearance, which appears to offer quite an ample selection slotted alongside the character’s classic movie designs. As shown in a recent post on social media, NetherRealm revealed a peek at how extensive the cybernetic officer’s customization could be in a stunning new video.  In a similar fashion to previous MK11 characters, several options are made available for RoboCop’s costume, his firearm, as well as his trademark visor for players to better fine-tune their experience. Check it out below.

All these Robo-customization options are undoubtedly dazzling, though, pretty par for the course in Mortal Kombat 11. Fellow guest character The Terminator memorably received similar multi-costumed treatment, with Arnold Schwarzenegger sporting several iconic looks from movies in the series. The same can also be said for RoboCop, save for one extra costume developers posed as a quintessentially “NetherRealm Studios version” of the character. Adopting features closely associated with such series alumni as Smoke and Cyrax, players will also have access to a Cyber Ninja iteration of RoboCop – complete with multiple color sets.

Seeing such care being taken with RoboCop’s customization is surely being met with warm appreciation from fans, especially as all this attention to detail appears to carry over to the lawman’s gameplay as well. Implementing a full DLC character alongside the greater Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath expansion represents a truly incredible feat even if it wasn’t exactly a secret in the months beforehand. With such quality being teased across the board, all is shaping up to be a pretty worthwhile experience slated for later this month. However, one can’t help but wonder if the rebooted 2014 version of RoboCop might also make a surprise addition to the cut.
