Minecraft Live, formerly known as Minecon Live and Minecon Earth, is happening next month! Despite the cancellations and delays that’s occurred since the dawn of COVID-19, people are still finding ways to have fun and find the silver lining amidst it all. Though Minecraft Live was planned as an in-person event, Mojang Studios announced that the event is still coming and it’s all taking place online.

Catch Minecraft Live on October 3rd at 12:00 PM EDT / 9:00 AM PDT to celebrate the love of everything Minecraft-related! Tune in from your phone, tablets, PC, or game consoles on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch to catch new and exciting information on the latest plans that Mojang Studios has in store.

According to Mojang’s Sofia Dankis, here’s what you can expect during Minecraft Live: “The main thing you need to know is that this year the celebration takes place online. Due to the impact of Covid-19, Mojang Studios has delayed Minecraft Festival until 2022 and will no longer be involved with official community events. Until then, we’re going to bring the party directly to your device and we’ve got all of our usual goodies lined up for you! Join us on Minecraft.net/live for updates, mob votes, news, and delightful banter. Oh, and chickens. Lots and lots of chickens.”
