Mafia II and Mafia III have both seen the release of definitive editions, though the latter title is only a few years old. While the OG Mafia game hasn’t seen a remake yet, it will be arriving in a remastered edition alongside both of its successors later this year. Now, a new trailer has arrived showing off the slick new updates the game is set to see.

The trailer was recently revealed as a part of the PC Gaming show and features some of the narrative elements that will be in the game. While it might not be actual gameplay, the trailer does show off some incredible visual updates, making it look like a brand new game altogether. Still, it would be nice to see just how much the definitive edition of Mafia has improved from its original release in terms of gameplay. Thankfully, it appears as though the trailer will be the first in a series of trailers to come, and with the upcoming release of the remake those trailers are sure to be not far off.

Mafia: Definitive Edition is set to see a release for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on August 28th.
