Saturday Night Live Parodies Lost Jurassic Park Auditions With Hilarious New Sketch (VIDEO)

Lost Jurassic Park Auditions

To celebrate the achievements of Spielberg’s iconic Jurassic Park legacy, the sketch show Saturday Night Live hosted by Bill Hader took a crack at parodying a few lost film auditions featuring some of the most recognizable superstars of the early 90s. The sketch was perfection and featured personalities such as Whoopi Goldberg, Pee Wee Herman, and Jaleel White.

The entire sketch was featured around outlandish auditions, definitely not meant to be taken seriously. No Doubt, for example, was a band at the time but not quite big enough that Gwen Stefani would be auditioning for a movie on that kind of scale. A few of the other auditions featured would have been hilarious to see like Hugh Grant in the role of Dr. Alan Grant, Ellen DeGeneres as Dr. Ellie Sattler, Al Pacino or even Clint Eastwood as Dr. John Hammond. It’s also worth noting that there was no character applying for the role of Jan Malcolm, which is understandable. After all, who else could play the desirable chaos theory mathematician but Jeff Goldblum?

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the latest in the Jurassic franchise, is set to release June 22nd, just a little after the 25 anniversary of the first Jurassic Park film.Which of the parody auditions did you like best?
