Left 4 Dead Creators Reveal Concept Art For Its New Zombie Game, Back 4 Blood
Left 4 Dead holds a special place in the hearts of many fans, providing a unique and infinitely fun co-op experience fighting hordes of zombies. While there have been similar titles such as Warhammer: Vermintide 2 that have given players a chance to scratch that chaotic survival itch, there hasn’t been a new Left 4 Dead title in over a decade. Thankfully, it was recently revealed that Turtle Rock Studios would be giving the franchise some fresh attention, or at least a spiritual successor in the shape of a new title called Back 4 Blood. Now, the studio has come far enough along in their development to tease fans with what’s to come.
There isn’t much that’s been revealed about Back 4 Blood other than that it will be similar to the Left 4 Dead series, while bringing with it a whole host of new mechanics and concepts that will help give the title its own unique identity. The developer recently shared a screenshot to Twitter featuring a compound of sorts surrounded by chevaux de frise, or spike barriers and other defensive obstacles like trees covered in barbed wires, guard towers, and more. Check it out below:
