League Of Legends Fan-art Imagines Keanu Reeves, Other Stars As Iconic Champions
For the longest time in television and film, seeing live-action depictions of video game characters were few and far between, and only for the most popular games. However, it certainly seems like lately more and more live-action video game films have been released or confirmed to be in the works. To celebrate this trend, fan artists have used their tools to visualize what celebrities might make the best casting choices for fan favorite characters, such as Terry Crews as Mortal Kombat’s Jax. Now, one talented artist has imagined what Keanu Reeves and other celebrities as champions in a new series of League of Legends fan art.

As reported on Prima Games, fan artist Mizurii official has released their new League of Legends fan art. Nerd favorite Keanu Reeves is fittingly depicted as Yasuo the swordsman, paying a slight nod to Keanu’s proficiency in the martial arts. Cara Delevingne looks stunning as swordsmaster Riven and Scarlett Johansson fits perfectly as Katarina. Rounding out the casting choices is Charlize Theron as Diana, and she almost looks unrecognizable in full costume and makeup.
There is no known official live-action League of Legends film or television series in the works, however there is an anime series currently in development. That said, with League of Legends’s growing fan base and international appeal, a live-action adaptation arising in the next few years very well could be in the cards. Having Keanu, Charlize, Cara and/or Scarlett in the cast for such a project would certainly be ace.
