LA Noire Remaster Rumored Complete With VR Support and First Person Mode

LA Noire Remaster

Rockstar Games is currently working on Red Dead Redemption 2, which will let players live out their spaghetti western fantasies. Once that releases however, it’s unclear what the team will take on next. Multiple rumors run anywhere from games such as the next next installment of GTA, Bully 2, and now even a LA Noire remaster. A recent report indicates that the classic neo-noir sluething title will be coming to current gen consoles featuring VR support and a first person mode – among other features.

If true, players could be seeing the title appear on Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4 -and even the Nintendo Switch. However, it has been noted that if a LA Noire remaster were to happen, it would arrive in 2018 to not interfere with the Holiday season or Red Dead Redemption 2.

LA Noire Remaster

Liam Robertson, author for WWG, claims the site has three inside sources who confirm the existence of VR support for the title, or at the very least are doing internal testing for PlayStation VR which also includes a first person mode across all consoles. Robertson indicated that the first person mode will most likely look similar to GTA V’s, which makes sense given the game’s huge popularity.

Aside from this information, there’s nothing to back up any claims of a LA Noire remaster nor were the three sources for the rumor disclosed. However, Robertson has accurately provided information on multiple occasions. Players may find out more in the coming months, perhaps even an official announcement, so keep an eye on DFTG for more information.

LA Noire is a classic Rockstar title and a remaster could reignite interest in the neo-noir genre. Would you be interested to see the title return, or perhaps even a sequel?
