Little more than a month stands between Kingdom Hearts fans and the long awaited third core entry in the series. Despite there being such little time until the release of the game, Square Enix has deemed it necessary for several Kingdom Hearts 3 videos to be released until then, including one that has previewed much of the game’s climactic final battle.

Now, three new Kingdom Hearts 3 videos have been released by Square Enix that proudly display many of the game’s new characters, its variety of combat mechanics, and story-changing cutscenes. Check out the first of the three below:

As seen on YouTube, Square Enix has released three new Japanese commercials showcasing different aspects of Kingdom Hearts 3. The first highlights the new and returning Disney characters Sora will interact with in the game, including quick looks at Remy the rat from Ratatouille and Baymax from Big Hero 6.

The second video briefly shows the variety of combat techniques that Sora can utilize in the third installment. These include character summons like Ariel, and limit attacks performed with Woody and Buzz, and Rapunzel from Tangled.

The third and final video provides a preview of the game’s climactic final battle seen in recent trailers. Sora and all of his friends, including Riku, Mickey, and Kairi, all are shown in combat against swarms of Heartless and Nobodies led by Xehanort’s Organization XIII. This video may be somewhat spoilery, but the twists of the battle seen in these clips may turn out differently in the final game. Kingdom Hearts 3 is so very close, and yet feels further away than Destiny Islands does from the rest of the worlds. Hopefully the gummi ships with the game arrive soon.
