Kingdom Hearts III Teases Epic Final Battle In New Trailer (VIDEO)

After more than five years since Kingdom Hearts III was announced, it’s still hard to believe the game is finally set to arrive in just over a month’s time. It wasn’t that long ago when details about the game were harder to find than all 101 dalmatians, but we’ve since been greeted with regular showcases regarding gameplay, characters, and spiffy extra content as the threequel makes its way to launch.

As promised, Square Enix has unveiled another look at Kingdom Hearts III, featuring plenty of new story and gameplay footage. On the gameplay side, we see much in the way of Disney-themed battles such as aerial Big Hero 6 dogfights and climactic pirate clashes against unending waves of Heartless. One especially glorious moment sees the grand reveal of Stitch from Lilo & Stitch as a summonable character. The remaining footage strikes a decidedly different tone, teasing the high stakes Sora and his assortment of allies face in the Keyblade war ahead of them. Check out the trailer below.

While there’s no shortage of exciting reveals hyping the release of Kingdom Hearts’ culminating chapter, a massive leak has unfortunately revealed much more than developers had initially planned. With big spoilers now capable of spreading across the internet, game director Tetsuya Nomura has since issued a statement asking fans to avoid watching and sharing such content until Kingdom Hearts 3 officially releases for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 29th, 2019.
