Kingdom Hearts 3 Reveals Deluxe Edition Figures and Swag
Square Enix revealed the release date for Kingdom Hearts 3 this past weekend, in addition to a pair of amazing trailers. Now, we also know what kind of swag will come with the long-awaited title’s Deluxe Edition.
Three BRING ARTS figures serve as the focal point for the Deluxe Edition (apart from the game, of course). Customers will receive Sora, Donald, and Goofy sporting their new Toy Story world ensembles and weaponry. Sora’s Keyblade stands out as the highlight and an exciting preview of what’s to come in the game. A mini Alien plush dangling from the hilt, which is shaped like Buzz Lightyear’s ship. The Keyblade also dons Woody’s cowboy hat, and Woody’s sheriff badge serves as the teeth of the key. These figures will only be available for purchase with the Deluxe Edition.
To protect your game, the Deluxe Edition comes in a SteelBook case. SteelBook previously designed the Far Cry 5 Father Edition and Mass Effect: Andromeda Collector’s Edition cases as well. SteelCase’s newest release looks every bit as gorgeous as their previous work; collector’s editions seem to be their specialty. Lastly, the Deluxe Edition also includes an art book and a collectible pin depicting Sora above the game’s logo. Like the figures and the box, they both display an impressive commitment to detail.
Players can preorder the Kingdom Hearts 3 Deluxe Edition now for the price of $229.99. Given the near-universal love for the franchise, sales figures for the Deluxe Edition will likely be higher than most collector’s editions despite the cost. After 13 long years, the wait for Kingdom Hearts 3 ends January 29, 2019.
