Cyberpunk 2077’s Character Creation Will Be Overflowing With Options

Cyberpunk 2077

The more gamers are learning about CD Projekt RED’s upcoming futuristic action-RPG, the more intriguing the title becomes. After all, up until recently, it had been over five years since any footage was seen for the game. Now that we have a better understanding of what kind of world players will be stepping into with Cyberpunk 2077, let’s dive a little deeper.

We had the opportunity to sit down with CDPR at E3 2018 and talk about Cyberpunk 2077, including the many options gamers will have with customization. While the game takes place in Night City and its six districts, rather than expanding outward, the developers made their way up. The title will focus heavily on vertical exploration, which can be read about right here.

Moving forward with character creation, we learned the options will be beyond bountiful. Players will start with choosing either male or female, but after that, just about anything can be customized. Body type, hair style, clothing, skin features, makeup, piercings, tattoos… if you can name it, you can probably change it. What might be one of the coolest features to be included in Cyberpunk 2077 is the ability for players to customize their own backstory.

There won’t be any classes to choose from at the beginning of the game, but we imagine choosing your backstory and how the world perceives you will find a way to play a role in the class you develop into. All your choice, of course. Needless to say, this amount of personalization will surely help shoot this first-person RPG into the stratosphere. We all love CDPR’s previous work on The Witcher franchise, but Cyberpunk 2077 is vastly different in virtually every way possible.

The upcoming sci-fi adventure is still without a release date, but PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One player all patiently await its arrival. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as we continue to learn more about CDPR’s venture into the future, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:

What say you, gamers? Can you absolutely not wait to get your hands on Cyberpunk 2077 now knowing the extent to which you can customize your character? Will this end up being one of the greatest RPGs of all time, or is it too early to say?
