Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity Expansion Pass Announced (VIDEO)
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity tells an exciting tale that sees several heroes from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild aim to change the course of history and stop Calamity Ganon before the pure-evil being wreaks havoc upon the world. With Calamity Ganon being stopped in the Age of Calamity timeline, it’ll be interesting to see where the game goes next, especially with the announcement of an upcoming expansion pass for the title.
The latest Nintendo Direct has revealed a heft of new content on the way for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity in the form of an updated roster, new skills for the existing characters, and more. With each release of content, the expansion pass will treat players to new weapon types, challenges to take on within the Royal Ancient Lab, as well as new stages and activities for players to engage with. There’s been no official word as to what characters might be added to the roster, but perhaps it might involve NPCs that already exist within the game such as Purah, Robbie, or even Zelda’s Guardian companion Terrako.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is currently available for Nintendo Switch, with the expansion pass bringing the first wave of upcoming content this June, followed by a second wave arriving in November. The pass is currently available for pre-order at the price of $19.99 USD, netting players the bonus of a newly-added weapon and costume for Link. It’ll be interesting to see what the developers have in store for this alternate Zelda timeline, from the expanded roster to whatever else the development team may have in store.
