A couple months back, IO Interactive officially announced the arrival of Hitman 2 – a sequel many hoped would come to fruition, but had no idea if it would. Though teasers were peppered throughout the year, it almost seemed like a sure thing. Thankfully it is and there’s even a new teaser trailer to check out.

Revealed during PAX West 2018, the latest Hitman 2 video can be seen below and takes onlookers into the heart of the Colombian jungle. With Miami an already confirmed location, Colombia adds to the anticipated 6 areas to explore in the upcoming title. Check out the next location for Agent 47:

Hitman 2 features six brand new sandbox locations for open-world exploration, which means there are “endless” creative ways to take out the target. Anything and anyone can be used as a weapon – be it a muffin, a freshly caught salmon, or even a defibrillator. The world and its inhabitants are up for the taking. And it wouldn’t be a Hitman title without a brand new campaign and missions. There will be “more free live content” to test Agent 47’s interesting methods for taking out Elusive Targets.

Instead of episodic releases, the sequel will release the full game on day one and likely downloadable content to come in the future. Since their departure from Square Enix, IO Interactive is ready to show a whole new side of their creative development.
