Halo Master Chief Collection Will Be Optimized For Xbox Series X/S
With the launch of the next generation of console gaming just around the corner, many people are getting excited. When it comes to Xbox Series X/S, however, players question which titles from previous generations will receive upgrades. As it turns out, the latest reveal has let fans know that the entire Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be optimized.
That’s right, each entry in the Master Chief Collection will be optimized for Xbox Series X/S. That means 120 FPS, up to 4K on Xbox Series, X, and more. Needless to say, Halo is about to look better than it ever has on console. To top it all off, those who already own the collection will get the update for free on November 17th. This includes those who play through Xbox Game Pass.
It’s time to dust off the ol’ Needler.

Split-screen will be improved for Halo: The Master Chief Collection players who enjoy a bit of couch co-op, and as far as that beautiful framerate, it will be achievable on each of the new Xbox consoles. As stated above, however, 4K is only for the Series X.
