Halo Infinite Technical Preview Accidentally Leaks Campaign Details
The first technical preview for Halo Infinite is here, and it’s sure to be a blast for those who manage to participate. Still, it appears as though 343 Industries released a bit more expected in the most recent build. It’s been confirmed that the technical preview includes several files related to the game’s main story campaign, some of which include actual spoilers.
A recent Tweet from Halo Infinite Creative Director Joseph Staten reveals that there were some campaign files released with the ongoing technical preview that were unintentionally included, and they contain spoilers for the game’s story. Staten explains that this sort of leak is painful for the team and could be detrimental for both fans and developers alike should spoilers ruin the campaign. He asks that fans not spread spoilers if they do end up seeing them, while also noting that there are methods to avoid spoilers altogether should fans be so inclined.
Leaks like this are painful for the dev team and can ruin the campaign experience for everyone. So please, keep you eyes peeled for spoilers and don’t spread them if you see them.❤️ 2/2

Social media such as Twitter sometimes give users the ability to mute words or phrases alongside various other censoring options. Its also possible to utilize browser extensions like Spoiler Protection 2.0, a Chrome addon that can’t filter out unwanted spoilers based on key phrases that the user can enter. The downside of this is that there may be official information that gets released about Halo Infinite that may get filtered out as well and users might miss out on something they do want to know or see.
The current technical preview for Halo Infinite is looking to run from July 29th to August 2nd of this year and fans will need to sign up as an Insider on Halo Waypoint in order to be able to begin gaining access. The title is also set to arrive later this year for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
