GTA Remastered Trilogy PC Requirements Revealed
While rumors have abounded for months, if not years, regarding what form a potential Grand Theft Auto VI might take, thankfully fans were recently satiated with the announcement of the Grand Theft Auto Remastered Trilogy. At long last, the PlayStation 2-era Grand Theft Auto games will be made playable on the modern gaming consoles, with newly updated graphics. Also fairly unique for a Grand Theft Auto game release is the remastered trilogy’s PC version being made available at the same time as the console versions. Now, Rockstar Game has revealed the GTA Remastered Trilogy PC requirement specs for the new versions of the games.
Rockstar Games has updated their website’s listing for the Grand Theft Auto Remastered Trilogy with new details. The key new details added pertain to the GTA Remastered Trilogy PC requirements. While the games date back to the PlayStation 2 era, it is still good to know just how much more of a technical bump the updated graphics and systems might need. The minimum required specs are as follows:
- OS: Windows 10 64-Bit
- Processor: Intel Core i5-6600K/AMD FX-6300
- Memory: 8GB
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 2GB/AMD Radeon R9 280 3GB
- Disk: 45GB
The website also lists these recommended specs for optimal performance on PC:
- OS: Windows 10 64-Bit
- Processor: Intel Core i7-2700K/AMD Ryzen 5 2600
- Memory: 16Gb
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB/AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB
- Disk: 45GB
It should be noted that the GTA Remastered Trilogy will only be available on PC through the Rockstar Games launcher, and players that purchase it by January 5th of next year on the launcher can receive a $10 discount on another purchase of $15 on the launcher. Both the console and PC versions of the remastered trilogy will be released on November 11th.
