God Of War Pre-Order DLC Now Available For Free (VIDEO)
God of War released earlier last year and has proven to be a massive hit for its resonant story, adherence to Norse lore, and fully-realized hack-and-slash gameplay. As one of Sony’s most prominent titles for the PlayStation 4, fans who bought the game early were granted some spiffy pre-order DLC, available in both standard and special editions of the game. However, those who missed the boat the first time can now get access to this exclusive content free for a limited time.
For the year-end holiday season, God of War developer Santa Monica Studio is giving away the ‘Holiday 2019 Giveaway’ pack free of charge on the PlayStation Store. From now until January 6th (12am PT), players will get access to the previously pre-order-only Death’s Vow Armor Sets for Kratos and Atreus, as well as a foursome of shield skins (Exile’s Guardian, Buckler of the Forge, Dökkenshieldr, Shining Elven Soul) available from the Armor and Weapons tab menu.
Happy Holidays! Our original #GodofWar pre-order bonus Armor Sets and Shield Skins have been unleashed FREE now until Jan 6th, then they’re gone!

Kratos’ latest adventure may be more than a year past release, but there appears to be no shortage of goings-ons at Santa Monica Studio–perhaps with particular regard for God of War. Previous job listings suggest the game’s inevitable sequel may currently be in its initial stages and the title is being championed to make the jump to PC–a very real possibility with next-generation consoles nearly on the horizon.
God of War is available now for the PlayStation 4.
